We welcome contributions in the following areas:  

– Market Analysis: Trends, sector performance, or economic factors impacting Nigerian equities.  

– Company Profiles: In-depth analysis of listed companies (financials, growth prospects, risks).  

– Investment Strategies: Practical guides on portfolio diversification, risk management, or trading tactics.  

– Regulatory Updates: Changes in SEC/NSE policies, tax implications, or market regulations.  

– Personal Finance: Articles on saving, investing, or wealth-building for Nigerian audiences.  

– Opinion Pieces: Data-backed perspectives on market opportunities, IPOs, or investor behavior.  

Excluded Topics:  

– Unverified rumors, promotional content, or politically charged narratives.  

– Cryptocurrency or non-equity investments (unless directly tied to Nigerian stocks).  

 2. Submission Requirements  

 Originality  

– Submissions must be original and unpublished elsewhere. Plagiarism or AI-generated content will be rejected.  

 Formatting  

– Length: 800–1,500 words (longer pieces may be serialized).  

– Structure: Use headings, subheadings, bullet points, and short paragraphs for readability.  

– Language: Clear, professional English. Avoid excessive jargon.  

 Data & Sources  

– Cite credible sources (e.g., NSE reports, SEC filings, reputable financial journals).  

– Include charts/graphs (if applicable) with proper attribution.  

 3. Submission Process  

1. Pitch First: Send a brief outline (1–2 paragraphs) to editor@nigerianstocks.com with the subject line “Pitch: [Your Topic]”.  

2. Approval: Our editorial team will respond within 2 business days.  

3. Final Submission: Approved pitches must be sent as a Google Doc or Word file with:  

   – A 2–3 sentence author bio (include expertise/experience).  

   – High-resolution headshot (optional).  

   – Disclosure of any conflicts of interest.  

 4. Editorial Standards  

– Accuracy: Fact-check all data (e.g., stock prices, earnings reports).  

– Neutrality: Avoid biased language or unsupported claims.  

– SEO: Include relevant keywords (e.g., “Nigerian stock market,” “dividend yields”).  

– Tone: Professional yet accessible to both novice and advanced investors.  

 5. Legal & Ethical Guidelines  

– Conflicts of Interest: Disclose if you hold positions in stocks/companies mentioned.  

– Copyright: Contributors retain ownership but grant NGN STX exclusive publishing rights for 90 days.  

– Compliance: Avoid insider information or market manipulation tactics.  

 6. Review Process  

– Submissions undergo a 2-tier review (fact-checking and editorial style).  

– Edits may be requested for clarity or compliance.  

– Final approval and publication timeline: 7–14 days post-submission.

– Contributors are typically unpaid but gain visibility through bylines and backlinks to personal/professional platforms.
